This little stinker turned 18 months old yesterday. 1 1/2 years already! I love my little man and I love this age. He cracks me up daily. He is really starting to talk and repeat what we say. He says "please" (while signing) so cute it melts my heart. He say "O yi ya" for Olivia and tries to say Audrey. He says "ball" all the time because that is his absolutely favorite thing. If he is not happy all we have to do is find a ball and he is in heaven. Did I mention he throws the ball very well for 18 months? At least in this bragging momma's opinion. I'm teaching him to say "Yes mommy" when I ask him to obey me with something or ask him if he wants something. He says it so cute while shaking his head yes. When he loves something that he is eating or drinking he will take a bite or drink and then shake his head yes with a smile like he is telling us he approves and likes it. Every morning he brings me his shoes and wants me to put them on. Not to go outside, just to wear ALL day long. He loves his shoes on and he can even say "shoe".

He is all boy! He is very rough, constantly tackling his sisters and Steve. He climbs on everything and seems fearless already. But he is such a lover too. Every morning he wraps himself around each sister tightly and gets so excited when he sees them. When Steve comes home he yells in a high pitch voice, "Hi, Dada!" and runs into his arms. And when he says, "mama" it is the best sound ever.
Here he is at his 18 month check-up with Dr. d'Angelo. My kids have seen him since birth and this was our last visit with him because he is somewhat retiring. He is going to still teach some classes at the clinic but he isn't seeing patients anymore. Boo Hoo.

Owen weighed 26 1/2 pounds and was 32" tall. He is in the 50% for height and 36% for weight.
He wears size 18-24 month clothes with a few 12-18 months still fitting him. He is in size 4 diapers and size 6 almost 7 shoes.

Check out his silly sisters in the background.

I'm so thankful that we were blessed with a boy! And come August there will be double trouble with yet another baby boy blessing. I can't wait to see the brothers together. I hope they will be best buds like their sisters.
On a side note: Audrey had a check up too and she is 41" tall and weighs 35 lbs. She is in the 26% for weight and 37% for height. She used to be in the 10% for weight so she is not as tiny as she used to be but she is definitely still a Little Bit compared to Olivia and Owen. She is only 9 pounds more than Owen and she is 3 years older than him. He'll pass her up before we know it. Dr. d'Angelo said that from the trend we are seeing now Audrey at 20 years old may be around 5'4" and 120 lbs. We'll have to see if that checks out.
