Are You KIDDING me?

Two days ago, it was so nice outside that the girls pretended to be sunbathing. Do you like Audrey's sunglasses? They couldn't find shades for her so she put on Mr. Potato Head glasses.

We even went for a walk to the park and Owen loved it!

And then today we woke up to this... almost a foot of snow!!! WHAT?!?! My how March weather can change. What's crazy is that a lot of it has melted and it's supposed to get nice again for a few days, possible snow, and then in the high 60's and 70's next week.

Fun with Okie Family & Friends

Steve's sister Shelley and her family came to visit from Oklahoma and they brought their good friends the Petillo's. We haven't seen this part of the family since Christmas 2008, so about a year and 2 months. Way too long to go without seeing each other. Since we've last seen them, Garrett got Type 1 diabetes too so now Jeff, Macie, Garrett, and Olivia all have it in our family.

I love how Audrey even though she hadn't seen her Uncle Jeff in over a year didn't mind snuggling with him.

Garrett was the official baby carrier wherever we went. Thanks Garrett, you saved my back!

The first day they were here we went to the mall to look for Macie a prom dress. My girls loved the dresses.

The next day we took them to the Budweiser Tour.
They are standing in front of the wagons that the Clydesdales pull.

This Clydesdale's name was Wheeler. He has been in a lot of Budweiser commercials.

We went to Estes Park after the tour but we didn't have much time there so this is the only pic I took. My little papoose bundled up.

The next day we took them to Hammond's Candy Factory and watched the workers make some candy. Hmm, 4 diabetics at a candy store? I wonder if this was such a good idea.

Then we headed down to 16th Street Mall and walked around.

We had a great time with them all and can't wait to see them again.

Owen, at 4 months:

• you weigh 16 lbs. 10 oz. and are in the 80th% for your weight. Big Boy!
• you are 24 1/4 inches long and are in the 30% for your weight. Big and short!
• your head circumference is 17 " and is in the 75%. Big head for lots of brains!
  
• you are wearing size 2 diapers

• you rolled over back to front on 2-26-10 (We were at Olivia's diabetes appt. and my mom was watching him, Audrey, and my nieces in the playroom and he did it! I missed it :(

• you are sleeping through the night sometimes and sleep a good 8-10 hours when you do.
• you take about 3 naps a day from 45 minutes to 2 hours on average.
  
• you are really talking to us and making all kinds of noises.
• when nursing you stop a lot to turn and look at me and give me the biggest grins.

At 4 months Olivia was 14 1bs. 4 oz. and was 25" long.
At 4 months Audrey was 13 lbs. and 23 1/2" long.
At 4 months Owen was 16 lbs. 10 oz. and 24 1/4" long. He is definitely my biggest baby.
What's funny is that Audrey was only 17 lbs. 1 oz. at 9 months and 17 lbs. 12 oz. at a year. He's almost there at 4 months. Yikes, what will he be like at a year. I love it because he is such a chubby guy and I love every roll.

A Visit from the Cousins

My brother Mike brought my mom and my two nieces Sara and Faith to visit us. My girls had so much fun with their cousins. There is a little bit of an age gap with Sara being 10 and Faith being 8 but they did play with my girls and I really enjoyed having them here. Sara is really growing up and she is the best helper and Faith is a sweetie too. When Sara was little she and I were super close. I spent a lot of time with her and we really bonded. I spent nights with her in the hospital when she was 3 and she had to have surgery and her mom had to be with her sister who at that time was less than a year old. She always wanted to be right by my side. She would get so excited when she saw me and would run into my arms. I still can't believe that little girl is now 10. I'm glad we got to spend some time with them and I wish we lived closer.

My mom took them to Build A Bear and they each got an animal and an outfit. They all had a BLAST and got the cutest animals!

While they were here they went to music class with us.

Just Sara came with me to Owen's baby class and bonded with her cousin.

I saved the best for last! I actually did not know this picture was taken until I uploaded my pictures to the computer. This is them with a trail of Owen's diapers wrapped up around them. We have a diaper pail and my mom probably emptied it and then this happened. Their faces say it all. YUCK!!
