March came and went...

...and I did get some more organizing/spring cleaning done in my kitchen. For those of you who didn't read about Organizing Junkie's Monthly Organizing Round-up in my February post, well, March was for cleaning the dining room but since I don't have a dining room I kept organizing the Kitchen. Here are my before and after pics.

In these containers below are some of Olivia's Diabetes supplies and then in the bigger containers are her arts and crafts supplies. This is not a before or after except I did add more labels to each drawer. The before/after pics to these containers are below.

It doesn't look like much was done to the cupboards but I did purge a lot and I moved some stuff to other locations.

Isn't the Lost Socks thing cool. My mom made it for me, she found it in a magazine and it turned out so cute and now I have a place to hang lost socks until the other turns up.

Also, I found a blog called MomAdvice and she has been doing a Spring Cleaning day by day and the first thing to do was clean the fridge inside, outside, above, below, behind, etc. One hour a day she does some spring cleaning and it's been helpful to me. I just started and I did manage to get the fridge done but I am not doing it every day, just when I can.

I started this post the last day of March and here I am finishing it on Saturday April 5th but I have to tell you what happened today. Usually on Saturdays Steve likes to just relax and watch sports. Well, today he woke up with a bug to spring clean. And boy did we. We cleaned out his office very good and we purged two bags full of trash. It felt good. We cleaned almost every room this way but the office really got the most of it. Wow. Thanks honey for kicking it into gear and doing such a great job. When you set your mind to something you don't stop until it's done.

April is the month to organize the Master Bedroom so I'll let you all know how that goes. The closet really does need some help.

These next two pics are mostly for my dad because he has been checking my blog often and is wondering where the next post is, well, here it is dad and here are your two cute granddaughters. They miss their Lampa.

Dance Dance Revolution

Our friends Alex and Lisa own the very fun Dance Dance Revolution game. If you don't know what it is or haven't tried it you are missing out. Forever they have been wanting us to come over and play this game and finally it worked out. They also had over another couple from our church and it was a day of dancing, laughing, and more dancing and laughing. What a great workout we got too. Thanks guys for a very fun time. By the way, Steve did not want to dance but once he started he had a lot of fun and was actually VERY good! I was proud of him.

They had another game (can't remember the name) but you stood there and moved your body and played all kinds of stuff like boxing, baseball, smashing bubbles, cooking, etc. You could see yourself on the screen sometimes and sometimes not. It's kind of like Wii I'm told but with this you don't use equipment in your hands. Anyway, it's so funny to watch the person playing because they look so silly waving their arms and body around.

Happy Easter!!!

Thank you God for sending your son to die for our sins. Thank you that Christ rose again and on this day (and everyday) we can reflect on your awesomeness. What a beautiful spring day we had in Denver.

On Saturday we went to visit the newest member of our extended family. Meet little baby Henry Gregory, my cousin Andrea's 3rd child. Isn't he precious?
