Ooops! I'm a little behind on this one but May 12th was my 4th blogiversary. I started this blog in 2006. Here are some random pics to celebrate my blogiversary. I know, I'm weird to recognize my blogiversary but oh well, something else to blog about I guess.

Decided not to give her a nap one day but when it was quiet I thought I better check on her and she had passed out. This is rare for one of my children. Do you like how she dressed herself?

Oh and I have been a slacker blogger for about a month and am now adding everything I missed so if you gave up on checking in on me for awhile you might want to scroll down because I've added some. Sorry dad!!!

Memorial Day Weekend Fun

We had a very nice low key weekend with just our little family. We went to breakfast at our favorite restaurant The Egg and I. Yummo! Then we headed to Walmart to buy the girls some goggles so we could take Owen swimming for his first time.

He loved it.

Audrey started to ride her little bike with training wheels that she would not touch until recently.

We took them to the park to play ball because Olivia really LOVES hitting the ball. Click on the below picture to see a really intense look on her face. She is trying to KILL it.

He did not want those straps under his neck and once I released them he was all smiles.

I tried something new with Audrey's hair. A little girl we know had her hair like this one day so we thought we would see how it looked on Audrey. I love it!!

Steve took the girls to a park one day and had a picnic while Owen and I went to get his pictures taken. We ended the weekend with a little BBQ. Fun times. Hope you all had a nice Memorial Weekend too.

Last Day of Music

The kiddos had their last music class a couple of weeks ago and they combined the baby and the older kids' classes so we all got to be together. The girls loved doing music class with their baby brother.


Grandma was visiting so she got to share in the fun too.

His First Food 5/20/2010

So we started feeding Owen rice cereal. I think he liked it o.k., as much as you can like rice cereal.

The girls sure enjoyed feeding it to him.

She Learned to Ride a Bike!!

At 5 yrs. and 4 months old Olivia learned to ride her bike without training wheels. Uncle Mike asked her if she wanted to learn so he took her out and she got it really fast. I honestly thought it would take a long time and that she would be scared but she just took off. She has good balance I guess and was turning corners, going up and down the curb in no time. And she was doing all this in a skirt (with shorts underneath). I was taking pictures and Steve had the video camera. Steve was a little bummed because he thought he should be teaching her how to ride a bike so I told him to jump in and do it but he decided it was o.k. to just video tape.

What mom, what? Seriously, what? I'm just trying to keep up with my big sister.

6 Months Old!

Wow Buddy, you made it to a 1/2 a year! Here's what's going on in your world right now:

• at the Dr.'s office you weighed 17 lbs. 10 oz. but the nurse had you on the scale really funny and was having trouble weighing you so I don't think that's what you weigh. On mommy's scale you are 18 lbs. and at a different Dr.'s visit a week later you were 18 lbs. Dr. d'Angelo said you are in the 55% percentile for both weight and height if you go by the 17 lbs. 10 oz. weight. Olivia was 16 lbs. at 6 months and Audrey was 14 lbs. 11 oz. so you are definitely bigger than them.
• you are 26" long
• you wear size 3 diapers
• you wear size 6-9 month clothes
• starting to sit up without support but only for a short time and then you topple over
• your tooth that was coming in last month went back down so no teeth yet, yippee!
• are sleeping better through the night (8-10 hours). Sometimes you fuss and I put your binkie back in and you go right back to sleep. You go down between 7 and 8 pm then up around 5 am for your first feeding and then you go back to sleep until 7:30 or 8 am.
  
• sometimes you just stare at me with such intent like I'm the best thing ever, I love it!
• you've had eczema a little bit since you were born but it has gotten a lot worse lately.
• you mostly take 2 naps, but every once in awhile you take a 3rd.
• you move around the room on your tummy, I'll put you in one spot and before long your in a completely different spot.
  

I've spiked your hair a few times but I think it's too long so it looked cute but kinda funny. You have a little mohawk.

3 people have told me within the last few weeks that you are looking more like Olivia. You definitely have her mouth. If you cover up your eyes, the nose down looks the same and the shape of your faces are the same too.
