4 Weeks Old!

Ashton you are 4 weeks old! Has it really been 4 weeks since you were born?
Here is what you are up to at 4 weeks:

• You wear size Newborn diapers and they are so tiny
• You wear size Newborn clothes and they are even a little bit big on you. That never happened with Olivia and Owen and Audrey maybe wore them for a week.
  
• You are sleeping mostly but having a little bit of wake time. You are not sleeping well at night so I am VERY sleep deprived and struggling making it through the day sanely.
• You are very easy so far, just eating, sleeping, pooing, and peeing. Owen was already smiling at this age and seemed so much older now than you but that is probably because you were early.

You had your first bath on 9/1/11 and you seemed to like it.

These three can't get enough of you. The girls have to hold you first thing in the morning and usually fight over you. Owen loves to kiss your head.

I had to get Owen laying next to you because he looks like a giant now since you are so tiny.

His head is so much bigger. Your head is so small it kinda freaks me out. Not in a bad way but just in a I can't believe I have such a small baby compared to what my other babies weighed.

I could hold you all day long if I didn't have 3 other kids.

I'm so happy to have another boy! Thank you God again and again for this little blessing!

1st Day of Options

Olivia and Audrey are starting school. They are homeschooled 4 days a week but on Fridays they attend a school for homeschoolers. Olivia went last year but this is Audrey's first year and she is so excited.

1st Soccer Game

Olivia is in soccer this fall and she joined my friend Vicki and Matt's team. They are coaching their daughter Paityn, Olivia's good friend, so I think that made Olivia less nervous and kind of excited. Here she is in her first soccer game. She is so cute and did so good. Matt told me we have an athlete on our hands. Steve and I were shocked after what happened at soccer camp this summer. She didn't seem to like it but now she does.

Ashton's Baby Shower

My friends Lanee, Natasha, and Linda threw me a baby shower for Ashton. I love those ladies, they are such sweet friends to me and I am thankful everyday God has put them in my life.

Olivia won one of the shower games. You had to feel in a bag full of baby stuff without looking and then write on a paper what you remember that you thought was in there. 6 years old and she won! She received some shower body wash.

My friend Joy adopted sweet baby Samuel one month before Ashton was born so our boys will be close in age.

My cousin Andrea drove around 1 1/2 hours to celebrate with me and meet Ashton. So glad she came with her daughters.
