Well, the Diabetes walk was a huge success. Our goal was to raise around $2000.00 and with help from many friends, family, and some we didn't even know, we raised an amazing $3820.00!! I'm still in utter shock that we raised that much. Wow, what an awesome support group we have. Olivia is a very blessed little girl. I can't wait until she can understand what so many people have done to help her. Thank you God for such wonderful people that surround us and love us.Here are some pics from the day:

He has always raised money every year for Olivia just by gathering money from people at work, etc. This year he did a website like we did and he raised $600.00!!! Wow, I don't even ask him to do this for us and he does. Thank you Mike, you must really love your little niece.Our shirts said, FREE OLIVIA LEE then it had her picture and underneath it said JDRF Walk 2008. We got a lot of stares after the walk at Elitch's and some people came up to ask us what the shirt meant. Someone thought she might be lost or something. We wondered if people thought she was in prison and we wanted them to let her out. If you didn't know that she has diabetes then I can see how the phrase could be confusing. Oh well, it was kind of fun to watch people stare and you could tell they were just dying to ask us about it but didn't.
After the walk we went to Six Flag's Elitch Gardens. (That's where the walk was and we got free passes.) I had to post this picture because when my sister and I were little there is a picture of us on a boat ride just like this one. I'll have to find the picture someday and post them side by side.
