And the Winner IS.........................

DAVID COOK!!!! Yes, yes, yes!! I am so excited I can't even tell you. O.k. for all of you who have no idea what I'm talking about I just finished watching the American Idol Season Finale. I watch the show every year but this by far was my favorite season. It came down to two David's and I really wanted David C. to win but it looked like after last night's show that the judges were thinking that David A. would win. So all through the finale tonight I just figured David A. won so I was kinda bummed. When Ryan Seacrest announced that the winner was David C. I started screaming like Steve does when he is watching OU football. 97.5 million people voted, CRAZY! I can't believe it, he won by 12 million votes and among those votes were my piddly 30 or so votes that I called in. Am I pathetic or what? Anyhoo, that's all I have to say about that.

2 year blog anniversary

Crazy, I can't believe this blog started 2 years ago. Where has the time gone? It's been fun and I like that it's like a diary in a way and a scrapbook of our highlights. Thanks to all of you who read and comment. I hope you will continue to enjoy my blog.

O.k. so I'm a bit behind on blogging about my organizing of the rooms. In April, at Org Junkie’s Monthly Organizing Round-up we were working on the Master Bedroom. I worked on my whole bedroom but the only pictures I'm going to show are of my closet which was getting horrendously bad. This was the worst it had gotten in a very long time and desperately needed some attention. I'm almost embarrassed to show you but oh well, here goes.

It's amazing how much we got rid of, wow, how nice to get that out of the way. So now this month is the Kid's rooms. Is anyone else doing this with me? It's so freeing to get rid of stuff, de-clutter and organize. Come on, join me!

Happy Mother's Day Mom and Mamoose and any other moms reading this blog. We had a nice day here in Colorado. Olivia told me Happy Mother's Day several times throughout the day and it was so sweet. Audrey made me a Mother's Day paper in nursery at church with her hand prints. Steve got me flowers, a card, and a few chocolates. We ate out twice today. What more could you ask for. I am thankful for my mom and wish we could have been with her to celebrate but it didn't work out this year. Thanks MOM for being the best.

On a side note I was noticing on the birthday ticker above that today Olivia is 3 years, 3 months, 3 weeks, and 3 days old. Weird. That would only happen like that during your first four years of life because after that most months don't have 5 weeks. So today is special for her too right? I thought it was cool anyway.

O.k. so my 100th post is coming up and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Does anyone have a suggestion? Am I supposed to blog 100 things about me or 100 things I love or what? I can't remember what some of you others have done. Fill me in if you know. Thanks

She made my day!

I had a no good, very bad, horrible day. I won't go into my day because it doesn't matter, all that matters is that my sweet little Olivia Amber Lee made my day. Out of the blue she said, "Mommy, look at me. I really love you. And I want to see you in the morning." That was it. That's all I needed to make my bad day a good day. She just said it. It was the way she said it too, like she really wanted me to listen and know that she loves me. I don't even know if she knew I had a bad day, she just said it right when I needed to hear it. Thank you God for her.
