The Boulder Fire

There have been lots of devastating fires in Colorado this summer.  The closest one to us is the Boulder Fire so we thought we'd take a bike ride and see if we could see it and boy could we!

Crazy how close it is to us.  Boulder is about a 20 minute drive for us and the fire was on the mountain just above Boulder so it didn't actually make it into the city.

A Friend's Party

Playdate!

I started a play group when Olivia was a baby with some women at my church and we still have them once a month on a Friday!  I love getting together with my friends and their kids.  It was at my house so I make lunch for the moms and they bring lunch for their kids!  Works out so nice!  It was a big group this time.

My cousins Jason and Jenny came to town so Matt and Annie and their family drove up to see them and we had a BBQ.  My nieces and nephew got to join us too so we had a big crew.  It was on Annie's birthday so we celebrated!

That night Owen crawled in bed with his sisters but I didn't think they would fall asleep.  I was wrong!

Olivia always has to have something over her head when she sleeps.  She gets scared at night so I think that helps her.
