Oklahoma

We traveled to Oklahoma for the first time in 20 months. We've seen Steve's family since then when they came to Colorado to visit but we hadn't been there so it was good to be back. We had a great time staying with one sister, then his parents, then another sister.

We don't see them but once MAYBE twice a year but yet Olivia is holding Shelley's hand like we are with them all the time. I love it.

Our bro-in-law Jeff is a very good drummer so of course Olivia and Audrey wanted to try them out too, they loved it.

My brother Mike moved to Tulsa so he came down one day to visit us. Weird seeing him while we were in Oklahoma.

Steve's dad has a trike so he took us for a slow spin around the empty parking lot behind his house. Yes, I'm in my pajamas, this was in the morning right after breakfast.

We were at Steve's parents' house and I went out to put something in our van when I saw their neighbor's house two doors down on fire. It was the craziest thing to watch someone's house burn and so sad. They weren't sure how it started except maybe a lamp from the living room. No one was home and the two dogs inside were saved.

Olivia made this tinker toy exactly like the front of the container it came in. She is really good at stuff like this. Maybe she'll go into architecture or construction science or something.

On our trip back we stopped in Wichita to see some good friends of ours. Here is Steve with Ian, one of his best friends. They used to live in Denver and Steve and him were so close. Hopefully one day they'll come back.
