Monthly Organizing Project

So I read a blog called orgjunkie.com. I love it and it inspires me to declutter and organize. So she started this monthly organizing roundup where she picks a different room of the house each month and everyone is supposed to work on that room to organize whether it be the whole room or just a drawer or two. Well, February was the Kitchen. I had great plans for the kitchen. I was going to organize a drawer here and a cabinet there all month long until the room was done. I was pumped and excited. This is what I got done.

That's it! In one month I managed to clean out and organize one cabinet. I had high hopes and this is it. But I'm going to keep trying every month to get better. I am very slow when it comes to stuff like this. I think about it too much instead of just doing it. Maybe blogging about it will help me work faster so I can show you what I did. Then again maybe not. Having two young children is difficult when trying to get stuff like this done. They are right by me pulling things out and making messes but no excuses right, just keep trying. We'll see how I do next month, March is the Dining Room but since I don't have one I'm going to tackle more of the kitchen and maybe start with my bedroom closet. Stay tuned!
