...my sweet little girl was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I can't believe it's been 4 years. We saw her endocrinologist this week and he thinks she is doing great. Her A1C which is an average of her blood sugars over the past 3 months was 7.5%. Last time she was at 8.2% so it came down and we are thrilled. They want kids Olivia's age to be between 7.5% and 8.5% and the lower the better so WOO HOO! Managing this disease is difficult but I'm so glad she seems to be doing good right now.
